Hi, I am Jana, grew up in the Czech Republic, spent years travelling the world with a camera, and somehow ended up exactly where I was meant to be — on the Costa Brava. I work as a destination wedding videographer based in Spain, raising two little girls, and still completely in love with what I do.

I’ve been filming weddings for over 14 years. Bali, New Zealand, Los Angeles, Sri Lanka, across Europe — each place brought something new, and each wedding brought people into my life I never expected to keep. More than 200 weddings later, I’m still just as excited the morning of as I was at the very first one.
I’m based on the Costa Brava and travel all over Spain, the Mediterranean, and beyond. Big weddings, small elopements, everything in between — I just follow the day and see what it gives me.
How I Work
I’m not about stiff poses or manufactured moments. I watch. I wait. I stay close enough to catch the real stuff — the nervous laugh, the look across the room, the moment you forget anyone else is there.
My style is cinematic and documentary at heart. I care about how things actually felt, not just how they looked. That’s what I’m always chasing — the feeling.
Why I Still Love This
Someone once asked me if I ever get tired of weddings. Honestly? The opposite. The longer I do this, the more I see. You get better at reading a room, reading people, knowing when to move in and when to stay back. I find that endlessly interesting.
I’m drawn to light, to music, to the way people move when they’re happy and a little overwhelmed. There’s always something worth catching — something even the people living it don’t always notice in the moment.
And I still can’t fully explain why my clients start to feel like old friends so quickly. But they do. Every time
